Oh that poor little sweetheart. I hope that eye didn't cause her too much pain before she lost it. Or at least that she doesn't remember it now. She is so lucky to have found you! She is beautiful, I wish I could reach through the screen and pet her :)

:aww: Yes! She's still beautiful even with one eye!

When the shelter we adopted her from took her in she was very, very sick. The eye got really infected and they did a couple of surgeries on it but about two weeks ago now they ended up having to take it out. It doesn't seem to hurt her too much anymore...she plays and bites and runs and jumps and doesn't seem too hindered by it. It's just taking her a little while to get used to living with it. She moves her head around a lot more than the other kitties so that she can take everything in :aww:

It's funny because we originally were just going to adopt her brother but when we saw her poor little eye we felt really strongly about taking her with us too. Now we're so glad that we have her because she's the sweetest little thing ever. And we probably wouldn't have taken her if she'd been perfectly healthy since we only intended to adopt one kitty. I guess things all work out ok in the end :)
